Low Power no Limp Mode

2001 Jetta ALH

No codes, no limp mode, any suggestions on what I can look at in Vag-Com that might send me in the correct direction, intake looks good, turbo actuator moves freely. I accelorate ok on flat road, can only maintain up hill.

Most likely a faulty Mass Air Sensor..most of the time the check engine light will not come on or show error codes, I've had this same problem a few times.

Isn't there a way to test that, disconnect it and see if it runs better?
