Folks,

I'm replacing the turbo on one of my 2002 Golf TDIs. How can I turn the car over (to build oil pressure) but keep it from starting? I've primed the turbo with new oil, changed the solid oil feed line with a braided stainless steel line and changed the engine oil. I want to make sure there is oil in the feed line before I start the car.

Thanks.

Eric

Disconnecting the wire from the fuel solenoid on the pump, unpluging the pump harness, pulling the 109 relay all come to mind.

Remove the 109 relay will work. I believe you can also unhook the fuel solenoid in the injection pump to prevent the engine from starting. Another one easy to get to unplug is the crank position sensor

KLXD, Mr.loops,

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll pull the 109 relay.
