Any interchangeable parts between MKV and MKVI?

I'm looking at purchasing a 2013-14 TDI SportWagen manual and was wondering if there are any interchangeable parts with my broken down MKV (2006 BRM) Jetta manual.

Any know if there are common parts between these cars?

There is no 6th gen wagon, they are just facelifted A5s, just FYI.

So the basic platform is the same, but there will be quite a few things different anyway. Not sure I'd be worried about salvaging a bunch of much older stuff for a newer car unless maybe you just put something on.

Door skins are probably the same. Front brakes. Steering and front suspension. Rear brakes the wagons usually have the bigger rotors.

They use the same oil and air filters and possibly the same fuel filter.
16" or larger wheels will fit (not 15" wheels due to larger brakes).
Most of the suspension parts are the same.
The plastic belly pan under the engine is the same.

In addition to what Oilhammer said: battery cover, air filter box, maybe radiator and AC fan assembly, coolant and windshield washer bottles.

There are probably more things that are the same than are not, but how much parts stashing do you want to do? If you wanted to save EVERYTHING that is the same, you are better off just keeping the whole car and shoving it into a barn somewhere.
