I was at a half tank. Topped it off because I'm going on a trip Sunday. Took 7.7 gallons and the handle clicked off. That seems about right for a half tank but it only shows 3/4 on the gauge. Anyone run into this? I guess I'll try to put some more diesel in later.

Did you leave the car running or turned on?
I had this happen before when i left the car turned on. Make sure you the car competely turned off when you fill up.
My problem eventually fixed itself after a few drives and one more tank of fuel.

Same issue here. I fill mine COMPLETELY each time. It takes patience, but I let the foam dissipate, and I continue to add a little at time. I stop when I see the diesel liquid level. I always turn the car off when fueling.
Mine will never show full. Mine has the 24 month warranty as a CPO, so I'm going to get it checked. Since I have the ridiculous $50 deductible, I'm waiting until I have 3 or 4 issues.
I know it's no big deal, but it bothers me.
