Whilst doing the wiring harness for my project came across this, body grounds are obviously to battery -ve , are sensor/analogue grounds also to body as cant think they would work if not?
My donor car was a 1996 Golf mk3 with AHU engine, closest wiring diagram I could find was for a 1996 Jetta, all pin outs same but couple of small anomalies with wire colours.
Waiting for replacement ECU (ECM) to get engine running as one that came with car isn't giving me the shut off valve 12v (direct from pin 53 on ecu)
Had ecu modified for immobiliser deleat, know will have to do same for this ecu but want to try 1st, told should run but will cut out after couple of seconds?
