Would be interested to know this myself: cannot find a mention anywhere about it.Does anyone know what time the court hearing will be tmrw?
Sure....one of these two legends would have the story covered for us!Can you imagine how all of this would have played out 20+ years ago without Twitter, Facebook, and the Internet in general?
Haha! There's just something about the trench coat that tells you the story is going to be well-researched and hard-hitting.Sure....one of these two legends would have the story covered for us!
Good point. The first line I see when going there is "we're working to make things right". Getting closer.Has anyone else noticed that https://www.vwemissionsinfo.ca/ has been prettied up a bit over the last week or so? They've added some new images to each page, and made it look a bit better. Perhaps they're expecting some extra traffic tomorrow?
Its a shame to think that those vehicles are just sitting there rotting: I know the ones that are at dealerships are on some sort of mechanical life support right now, but it is still a shame.I read on a post from a Dealer meeting that there will be NO 2016's (of which I think there is 3000 of at port in Canada) and No 2017's for sale,, there is near 3000 2015;s in storage in Canada also..
Geez, didn't realize that many had been sitting since last year. What a waste. Its a shame to think that those vehicles are just sitting there rotting: I know the ones that are at dealerships are on some sort of mechanical life support right now, but it is still a shame.
Agreed. Crazy though, had no clue they just held them at port. What an all-around stupid situation. Can you imagine the state of the vehicles that are in port, and not at dealerships? Yeeesh: seized brakes, flat-spotted tires, and the list goes on. Even if they did release them for sale, I would have my concerns about buying one: I'm sure they could fix them up but a vehicle sitting that long without any maintenance cannot be a good thing.
That and the exchange rate difference.. but that didn't stop them from hosing us on par for the cards.Hopefully our numbers are a bit higher considering the fact the cars cost more here.

I'm hitting up Google Search every once in a while with "vw emissions canada" searching for updates within the last 24 hours. You know what that means...VW doesnt have to give discounts on their vehicles for TDI owners who are looking at new cars. Sucks for those who were thinking of another VW.http://www.news.com.au/finance/busi...w/news-story/8039d7c4784c011d1e9e692b96f230e4
