depends where the tin is bent. Sometimes you can do it in situ or just leave it to wear down!

The Hose included in the kit is usually fine so not sure what went wrong there. Would be nice to see a few pictures, there are a LOT of swaps out there!!

We spent a couple hours trying to figure out a way for the included line to work, and we were completely flummoxed. The one I got from eBay fit perfectly and is working great.

Is the gearbox code HDS, very similar to DRW/ERF. Is an HDS recomended for the 02J swap? Is the HDS from a Polo/Fabia weaker than the ones you get?

HDS won't fit in a Golf / Jetta Platform, the mounts are different

Usually just the full gearset and diff with crownwheel

no its a regular front wheel drive 02m from an 04 1.8t bug. i figured I have this gear box if parts are not too much I'll just regear it. if you can source those parts shoot me a price.

I suppose you might save £60 or so in shipping, best to get a full gearbox IMO! I dont have any with damaged casings which would make it feasible.

Interested in PD150 intake since I have my stock VE one out for cleaning. Is there anything else needed to bolt up to stock VE? May take complete EGR and intake while I'm at it if you can quote both.

I did this conversion about 2 years ago and everything has been smooth sailing. Does anyone know the part numbers for the axles? Mine are missing enough of the part numbers to make it hard to look up what I need.

I think these may work, I just want to be sure.

They will work fine. However I just bought a set and was told they only have the right and do not expect to get any lefts in stock. Maybe they have by now, best to check. However, I know where you could find a left....

Was wondering what size is the maf that comes with pd150 tip kit? Is it the same as the one on bew or will it need tuned to engine? Also if I bought the pd150 injectors do you want my stock injectors back?

Yes they are the same mounts. BFI stage 1s are good. Stiffen those loose mounts up.
