RUG has dropped to 1.85/G around here, but D2 is still 2.89/G or more.

I filled up for $2.59 in Iowa the other day. Back in Minnesota there are some stations charging $2.60-2.70 for diesel but most are still at $3.00 or even a little bit higher.

Default My 2018 Diesel vs Gasoline pricing

I always track my fuel info and at the same time I track the price of gasoline at the places I fill up with diesel.
Here's the comparison for 2018

As you can see, the price of diesel does not spike up and down like gas does.
Low and High for gasoline was 94.9 to 134.3 cents per litre
Low and High for diesel was 112.3 to 128.9 cents per litre
51 fill-ups, total 39354 km, total cost for fuel $2483
All prices in Canadian currency.

Diesel is fairly stable around here now at $2.59 for most places in SC. It's nice when I only have to fill my truck once a month and her car about twice.

I paid $3.15 in Lee, NH on 12/31/18. Ouch! RUG was only $2.35.

I live in a really interesting part of Florida. In Brevard county, the diesel price varies quite a bit. Down by where I work in Melbourne, it's about $2.49/gal. In the northern parts of the county it averages anywhere from $2.89/gal to $3.19/gal. Not really sure why it's so much cheaper just 15 miles away.

Thumbs up $1 more for diesel vs. RUG

I filled up my JSW TDI the other day, diesel price was $2.99 (which is fairly consistent with what Iíve been paying since I got it). The lowest price I saw for RUG was $1.99 a couple days ago. An entire dollar more for diesel! This is in the D.C. area. But itís still worth it. My trip computer is at 275 miles and I still have over half a tank left...

Paid $2.57 in the NC side of the line today. Had grocery points so it was actually a dime less and therefore a couple of pennies less that crossing the line.
