Optima Red Top

Looking for some knowledge.

Has anyone installed an Optima red top type 34R or 34/78 in a jetta TDI

The reason I ask it it would appear to fit as the current battery is 12 1/8 x 6 7/8 x 7 1/2

An Orange top would be better, since the termilals are reversed.

the only problem according to optima customer service the orange top is no longer being made.

AutoZone is carrying Optima. I would check one physicaly out there. Someone on the forum said get the reversed terminals. The red top will do a good job. They also sell Optima where you can buy Interstate batteries. Call me if you need help.
