It's gone to insurance
No longer for sale

Asking $1400
Lien on title will be paid with the sale of the car, if not before.

My baby was totaled due to timing belt breaking.
Hit a screwdriver on the highway which somehow found its way through the tbelt cover.
Head was shipped off for inspection and valves were bent.
I haven't had the block inspected.
She may only need a good head, tbelt kit and your sweat and tears.
Ohio Titled - zero body damage
Will require salvage inspection and new motor/head installed - your local laws prevail of course.

I have always had this car in Florida, but i titled/insured in ohio to save money since i'm a resident there half the year.

Shes a rare gem (imo) nice black exterior with the highly desirable black cloth interior, ESP (electronic stability program) and the winter package of heated seats / mirrors / windshield nozzles.

I believe i am the 3rd owner aside from it trading hands of a few dealers in between. A decent amount of paperwork including the carfax showing consistent vw dealer maintenance.

I have the best GROM audio bluetooth adapter installed with usb port / android & iphone / sdcard slot and microphone for hands free.

240k miles
vagcom cable
kermatdi dog collar
new factory key plus extra programmed fob and valet key
new inner / outer tie rods and alignment
new cam position sensor
new replaced trans shifter tower (lever gear stripped on top)
new fresh Pennzoil syncromesh trans fluid and oil change.
new in tank fuel pump / fuel filter
recent rear rotors/brakes

Maintenance Needed:
front pads
vane controller swapped out (bad diaphragm), used good replacement part included
ebrake cables replaced, brand new part included
driver front shock replaced (squeeks), used good low mileage replacement part included
alternator supposedly has bad internal bearing, used low mileage alternator included w/ new pulley.
passenger mirror glass, glue came off last week and lost it on hwy.
rear view mirror remounted to windshield, the florida sun is no joke
spare tire (rim in trunk)
front tow hook missing

Issues:
Fobs open trunk as normal, but factory keys do not fit nor unlock exterior trunk lock.
Driver rear window and passenger rear lock sometimes do not respond to driver door controls, however the rear door controls never fail to work.
Vagcom does show code for both of these.
Headliner is starting to sag in the back
Only driver floor mat installed

It still looks the same or better.
I had left rear taillight replaced and rear bumper resprayed from a very minor scratch & dent incident. I have pictures of that somewhere too.
The two biggest dimples on the cars exterior can be seen in the pics from when i purchased the car.
One near the nose of the hood, and one barely visible on driver rear door.
There are signs on the paint from paws curling over the passenger window valence and light scratching on the outer door there from my dog sticking its head out the window.

Insurance decision pushed out until Monday.
You have until then to commit, otherwise its going to ins/auction.
$1400 for the nicest shell.
Transfer would allow time to plan pickup, and the title could be reissued directly into your name.
