Need parts for oil change this weekend in Detroit area

Hello all!

Got an unscheduled trip coming next week which will take me over the 5000 mile mark. Not planned and just found out tonight!!!

Does not look like any of the VW dealer have their part dept. open on Saturday's....

Anyone knows where else I could find oil/filter here locally so that I could get this done before my trip (and use my brand new Pela for the first time!!!).

I am located in Southeastern Michigan.

The Dealership on Plymouth Road, just west of Farmington is open (Ralph Thayer 734-425-5400).
Give them a call, although that is quite a drive from LKOR.
Then there is the VW Dealership at 10 mile and Grand River (Bill Cook) which is a little closer to you.

Check in your yellow pages, and make a few calls.

Good luck, and keep in mind that if you go a few hundred over 5K, it is not going to destroy your engine.
