How to repair IP quantity adjuster p1562 CEL without IP removal?
I have had the P1562 cel sporadically for years, the car runs great and does not smoke. Until now I have managed to pass the FUBAR CA Smog test. But now it comes back more frequently after reset, so I doubt I can get readiness for my next test.
I replaced the CAT5 filter, and will go back to the non-thermo filter T to see if that helps. I checked VAGCOM, the timing and fuel temp is ok. I have a set of new injectors and body ready to install to see if that helps.
Otherwise I will have to replace the IP quantity adjuster sensor. I am looking for an extra pump with a good quantity adjuster.
I saw a thread about replacing it, maybe with removing the pump?
