Just paid $3.499 at a Propel pump in West Sacramento at a Chevron station. The Chevron diesel was $4.399.

Noticed pricing in Chicago of $2.97 for D2 and $2.89 for rug, their own special blend. Got into Wisconsin and the rug price dropped about 50 cents but D2 only dropped a dime.

Spring break is in full effect here on the gulf coast so gas and diesel both have been edging up. Gas quicker than diesel, but it's still a big jump. Over the last two weeks gas has gone up about 25Ę and averages about $2.40 a gallon while diesel is up about 10Ę and averages about $2.85 a gallon.

Redmond WA
Costco
Top-Tier Diesel - $2.939
RUG - $2.95

This is the first time in a while that I have seen higher RUG/Diesel spreads.

Paid $2.51 for D2 in Lake Wylie, SC today. Didnít notice the price for rug since only the lawnmower needs it now.

Saskatchewan, Canada

$1.09/litre = $4.16/gal(US) and that's our good price ($4.46 at the upper end)

Historically, gasoline prices rise versus diesel at this time of year; and, on average, by May 10th there are many states where diesel is cheaper than RUG.

However, foreign countries, especially in Latin America, have become more dependent on diesel supplies from the US. And as a result the current inventories of distillate fuels including diesel are down significantly from a year ago.

So I do not expect to see ULSD cheaper than RUG this year, except on the West Coast where gasoline prices are way more than the rest of the country.

Yeah, we used to see prices ease with demand for heating oil in the spring as well, but like you said, there are so many more exports now that the old rules donít really apply anymore.

$2.99 is the going rate for ULSD on Delmarva at the moment.

I use Fuel Rewards (5 cents) and the 10 cent off Mondays to get Shell for $2.84.

Paid $2.49 last weekend and saw that it was up 20 cents this weekend. Interesting that the spread is only 20 cents from rug to D2. From rug to mid, it's currently 40 cents.
