Oh won't someone Puh-leeeze post a totally abysmal report so that I won't have to suffer the month's lowest diesel mpg for all eternity?
On the bright side, by filling with the car sideways to the pump (right side up) rather than parallel (tail up), I got that much more fuel in the tank. I'm still at more than 'full'.
See you in November,
maybe December.

MPG: 53.97

Car has PP520 nozzles and RC3+ with a PP764 nozzle fuel map (less fuel than PP520 map).

Driving habits were 95% highway, 5% city. Cruise was always used on highway. 70% highway was at 60mph, 30% at 70-75. In city driving, stop lights were anticipated to save fuel by letting off the gas well in advance. The venting method was used so the tank started filled to the brim, and was refilled to the brim before calculating.

60% Hwy 40% city Hwy in the DC area at rush hour is like city driving, it's what I mostly end up doing.

I was still enjoying testing the upsolute chip and new personality to the car on this tank :D I tried being a bit economical but now that I have a scan gauge II I am trying for a full tank of economical driving no matter where I'm going to see what I can get for total miles.

What does the volunteer have to do?
Basically just keep tally of everyone's posted tanks. We've been using the first post format for a few months and seems to work pretty well but you can run it how you wish. If you have any questions, just PM any of the people who have run it in the past.

Not so many miles this September as in previous years, so a lower percentage of highway miles. Usually I get in the high 38s, so the low 38s was a bit disappointing.

Also, the first couple weeks of September were extremely hot, but now it's cooled off nicely and fuel economy should around 40 mpg for October.
