Help me! I have a 2002 Golf TDI. This past Saturday my car decelerated and stopped. I think the diesel froze so I put diesel additive into the fuel tank. It did not work right away. The next day I got the car started but now the engine light stays on. Will it go off on its own or do I need to get it diagnosed?
How do you prevent this from happening again?

Hi, theresa. Sorry to hear of the troubles. There have been hundreds of similar posts over the past few days. Which anti gel fuel additive are you using? /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Get the codes scanned and make sure it's related to your fuel situation. If you don't know someone with Vag-com go to Autozone. I think they do it free. See if you can find some 911 fuel additive by power service.
