Definitely sounds a little better than mine, but mine is kind of similar, check out the exhaust link in my sig. I might add another muffler to mine too.

When i swapped my system to 2.5" stainless from mild i lasted 2 weeks with a single straight through box, great sound but the drone on long runs did my head in ( I must be getting old) !!!

ended up fitting one size smaller and narrower clamps because of leaks...
at first I couldn't get these fitted... but now they are fitted they compress
the hoses better because of the narrower band...

it was whistling all over the place.. now it's all quiet again ;)

Liking the look of the sportec rims. Since your car is AWD that must explain going with a thicker sway bar in the front, than a fwd that usually has a thicker rear sway bar.

tinkered on the B7 for a moment today...
the TIP kept popping off the turbo once in a while...

checked the compressorwheel which seems fine...

used a small metal strip to keep the TIP on the turbo...
I do want to make something more elegant...

I wasn't really happy with the way I fixed the TIP from slipping off...
was thinking about a ring that bolts to the original TIP securing-points, with 3 lips pointing towards the compressor housing...
but these are not on the same plane...

made this...

shortened the length of the breatherhose a bit for less tension...

also ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 3 225/40/18 92W...

Why don't you pop the compressor housing off and run a bead of weld around or chuck it into a lathe and machine a barb into it?

+1

Also you can look at the mounting of your BMC. If it's stiff mounted to the chassis you will have a lot of tension in the tip when the engine rocks.
Better would be to make a more flexible mounting or attach the bmc bracket to the engine somehow.

I can easily put the mount on the engine, using the threaded hose for the EGR-cooler...
but I am afraid that it would result in some extra vibrations/ sound getting into the cab...

The easiest way is just use a strong clamp IMHO, that clamp showed in picture isn't strong in any way.

Using T-bolt clamps like above, that hose won't pop out never again. :)
