Hey. Hit a bump in a parking lot today, this light came on. It was a really mild bump, but I'm assuming it somehow triggered this light. I'm gonna check the pads, but they're fairly new so I'm assuming they're fine and that the bump triggered the light somehow.

Any input? Can I clear the light with a generic scanner (with abs)? Assuming the pads are fine of course.......

There is a wire that goes into the back of inside pad on the drivers side that from my experience corrodes to a point that it just falls off triggering the light to come on. The bump you hit probably just helped it fall off. You may still have plenty of pad left, but only way to fix it is to replace the pads.

If the pads are still OK, and you want the light to go out, just join the two wires that go into the pad. This is a simple circuit without any computer involvement.
