I developed a leak:mad: on the metal connector behind the power steering pump, while prying the alternator back into position.

I did a search for a how to...
I didn't find anything.

Is it just a matter of removing the lines, and removing from bracket and replacing?
2002 Jetta automatic
Thanks
Alan

Yes, drain the resevoir.
Remove the pulley. You'll need a strap wrench and a 6mm allen
Disconnect the large 22mm bolt, don't lose the inner washer!
Disconnect the lower hose.
Remove the 4 bolts, 13mm, 3 outer and 1 inner.
Replace pump.
Put bolts in.
Connect hoses.
fill with fluid.
Done.

ps

Thanks Jason
As it turns out, I only bent the plate that holds the metal low pressure line that is attached to the pump.
Before I purchased the new rebuilt ps pump ($150) on the after market replacement that metal piece is permemtly attached.
I was able to straighten that plate out, it has a o-ring too. That stopped the leak.
Job done.
I had to remove the pulley to get to the mounting bolts.
