Up for sale is my 2002 Jetta TDI, with the legendary ALH code engine. The car has just over 267k on on it. I had planned to keep this car a very long time, which led me to do a ton of work on the car. The car is in pretty remarkable condition. You just don’t see these cars in this condition very often.
At 258k miles.
New long life timing belt, with water pump, rollers, and tensioner. Replaced cam seal, serpentine belt tensioner and belt. Engine, transmission, and dog bone mounts.
Fresh oil and filter, always used Rotella T6 synthetic
Recent fuel filter and diesel purge
All new vacuum lines
Upgraded VR6 wheels
GTI leather steering wheel
Newer Michelin premier a/s tires
Pioneer NEX touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth and Apple car play
Malone stage 1 performance tune, with dynamic EGR.
The car runs and drives amazing. Both the mechanical and physical condition of the car are excellent. The paint is still very shiny and the body work is in great shape. The inside of the car is near flawless.
The only thing the car could really use is a new set of shocks. That was next on the list for me, just didn’t get to it. Other than that, I can’t think of anything else it needs.
