To assist the membership here Baldwin Park is not very helpful. Are you in the US UK?

Its a sub frame not a Chrysler k member (frame).

Suggest you look at IDparts.com Boraparts.com for correct bolt types.

Stripped is what you are referring to. There are a lot of us that have had to weld the LCA (lower control arm) bolts.

My sister's Beetle had that problem. Took it to a shop that does welding where they cut a small hole and welded the nut back in place while the subframe was still attached. They then resealed the subframe.

Here is the procedure:

oh haa, well i don't feel too bad on the weekends driving my corvette.:D
Lucky, I have 4 gm's in the driveway that always have something wrong with them. Makes me wonder why they always have half metric and half standard... The engeneering blunders make me want to kick the guys who designed each of them in the gonads.

i bought the k member already so i will just change it out. also good time to swap all the motor mounts.
But now you will also need to get an alignment as I am pretty sure the subframe is part of that. It uses TTY bolts too IIRC.
