VW TDI stalling problem...

My son is driving a 2001 VW TDI. 110,00 miles, 5 speed. It starts fine, he will be driving down the road, and it cuts out. After sitting 10-15 minutes, it starts back up. I am going to install a new fuel filter. Any other suggestions ? Has anyone else had this problem ?

109 relay. Do a search, most likely the culprit.
