Crafter Pistons in brm?

Hi everyone, I'm interested in putting crafter 2.5 Pistons in my brm block to get a 2.0 but I've read somewhere that they fit pretty much any tdi except for the brm but I couldn't find any information as to why. Does anyone know of a reason they wouldn't work?

I think you need to machine oil cooling channel in the piston.
