Default Phx AZ to Vancouver BC: Shop rec\'s enroute? :-)

I drive from Phoenix AZ to Vancouver BC with regularity, and my B4 passat is out of warranty. Looking especially in the Portland/Vancouver area as I've a gem of a place here in Phoenix, but would appreciate a good shop anywhere in between if I fail in the road. Much appreciated!

Depends on what you need a shop for. We're in Everett and we have a Vag-Com, tools, and a driveway

I take my A5 to my local dealership for some things we can't do such as warranty work and alignments (just put on springs.) They're pretty decent but they also know me. I don't have any other recommendations for you; sorry!

In the Vancouver area, there are 2 shops I would personally recommend. There's Andes Automotive, which is run by Tony (vwpetrolero on here). He's a good guy and knows his VW's. I'd highly recommend him for regular maintenance or repairs. Then there's JS Performance in Abbotsford (just outside Vancouver) that's run by Jose daSilva who is another knowledgable guy as far as VW's. I'd recommend him as well for maintenance and stuff, but he also does some performance stuff as well like tuning boxes and injector upgrades.
