Hi folks, I have a 2009 CBAB TDI Audi A3, and VAG DPF reports " engine not compatible", so I started down the Torque Pro route and got mixed results. None of the standard torque pids work (in regard to DPF / Soot / Ash etc, all regular ones like RPM etc are ok), nor do the ones in HPD's CSV file for VW however I get data from a couple of PIDs using custom queries, but using the equations I have read on here, they make no sense and jump around like mad when I am above 65mph / 2k rpm. They sit static below that speed or RPM. My daily commute is 20 miles each way of crawling city traffic with a 3 minute burst of 60 mph plus, then back to crawling so I am terrified my DPF is getting worse and worse. I need the data badly - can anyone help solve this?
I get a response only to 2 PIDs - 06b2 and 0601 (for DPF stuff anyway)
06b2:
0: 46 B2 C2 17 03 16
1: 00 6E FF FF 00 00 00
Now, only the last 2 bytes on line 0 ever change and only when I am over 2krpm in 4th upwards, say 40 to 60 gear dependent.
0601:
0: 46 01 C0 30 35 D4
1: 25 5F 41 45 00 00 00
I have not yet seen any of these bytes change.
Mode 06 on OBDFusion reports only 3 things:
$01 EGS B1S1 TID $C0
Min 14.55 Value 20.836 Max 25.49 Unit %
$31 EGR B1 TID $C0
Min -85 Value -22.5 Max 150 Units N/A
$B2 PM Filter B1 TID $C2
Min 0.1595 Value 1.0588 Max 95.050 Units PSI
Again, makes no sense. Has anyone ever gotten any custom PIDs to work on the CBAB engine to reveal DPF Temp, Soot load, Ash load etc?? I read all of the threads Google could dig up but got nowhere. I also can't work out where the equations come from to evaluate the numbers I am getting.
Hopefully someone on here can help or advise. I'm in Scotland btw hence the 2009 A3.
