CJAA swapped Tacoma
Started on my 2002 double cab project last week finally after a long time of planning and gathering parts.
2002 Toyota Tacoma double cab PreRunner.
2013 CJAA CR 2.0 TDI
R150F 5 speed trans
10" LC engineering dual comp clutch
97 Land cruiser FJ80 axles (Elocked rear, Open front) linked front and rear on coils.
285/70/17 BFG muds
17" Procomp wheels.
I machined my own adapter for this swap to use the R150f trans, clutch, flywheel and stock starter.
Engine will be stock for now with a GTB1752vz turbo. I have another engine I will be building while working the bugs out of the truck first. That engine I will be porting the head, and doing Colt stage 2 cams with Mecevo springs. Also Tuscan rods and ARP head studs and a R70 CP3 pump. I will also be doing compound turbos ,GTB1752vc and a GTX2867R. I already have all these parts minus the head studs.

What ties to the pipe on the motor mounts? Nice looking welds by the way.

The fj80 axles under the Tacoma is how these should have come factory. I dig the e locker although i wish we would have had an option for the cable lockers the older cruisers got overseas.
