This is an opportunity to honor those in the Fred's community for their service to our group.
I prefer to make this an occasion to wear something more formal, and I believe more appropriate for the occasion, than cut-offs and t-shirt.

No tux or military dress for me either, but I will have on a jacket and tie.

lol,

ya I agree that the banquet should be a bit more formal than sandals, socks, cutoff shorts and tee shirt, but we certainly arent gonna kick any paying customer out.

I guess one can consider a long sleeve t-shirt and jeans more formal than cut-offs and a t-shirt. :p

Does the dinner roll count as a tie substitute?

:D :D :D ;)

How about like a tuxedo T-Shirt..

It's the shirt that says "I'm formal, but I'm also here to party." ;)

Yall are halarious! My girl was so embarssed I actually posted her question, but ya know how gals are, she would have hounded about this question for weeks. I have never been to a fest before so I could not answer her. Guess I should count my blessings that she does not mind going. I let her drive the TDI couple of days ago, she liked it but was reluctant to stab the go pedal.

I didn't realize until recently this was a no-no. I never would have guessed... socks and sandals is a very comfortable combo

Joe, that sign on the door does says Ladies, not "Laddies".

yeah, the Wisconsin fest. For some reason I was late getting to the banquet and I really felt self concious about the attire I had on.
