I've been doing some research for doing the timing belt + water pump service.
When you pull the water pump out coolant comes out (duh.) but how do we re-fill the coolant?
Do I need to just pour through the expansion tank cap after a couple of cycles of the engine or do I need to bleed the coolant system after removing the water pump?

Thanks,

Yes you fill through the expansion tank. The easiest way is If you have a vacuum pump you can hook it into the small hose that goes into the top of the tank and suck the coolant in. Or you can just squeeze the hoses a few times to help burp the air after you've topped the tank that gets you most the way there. The other way is to just run it with the cap off and keep adding coolant til all the air bubbles out then put the cap on.
