Hello I'm new here and just wanted to run this buy some of you since I couldnt find much anywhere else. Currently working to make a full stage 4 beetle ALH, and ive come to some issue with the turbo. Before I knew much about the various turbos I ordered one from ebay i thought was an upgrade, but it was a factory replacement, so I thought no big deal I found a genuine garret GT1749vb compressor housing online and went to pick it up, fits like a glove on the factory replacement turbo, so I went and ordered a billet compressor wheel for a VNT-17 in the hopes of making a hybrid turbo. wanted to know if i was gonna run into any clearance issues with the factory replacement core and the new compressor wheel. Thank you!

The turbo spins at very high RPM and it is a must.
Don't know about the fit, I would have asked the vendor before buying it.
