Bay Area mechanic/dealer recommendations?

Hello CA Bay Area TDI owners!

I am soon needing a 50K service. Can someone please recommend me a dealer or mechanic who they have had a good experience with?

most of usperform our own service on our cars because we have found that the level of competence at dealers is sub-par. Come and hang-out at the next GTG which will be held August 12th.

If ya gotta go to a Stealership go to the Sunnyvale VW Dealership. They have experienced TDI Mechancs...

Check out the list in the TDI 101 section. There are some indepedent shops in your area that seem to have a good rep. but I don't have any firsthand knowlrdge of their work. Call and interview them and see what you think. I'm using the dealer in Dublin for my warranty work. I don't think they have hurt my cart so far...
