99.5 Jetta, 415,000km (257K miles) on her, no problems. Original turbo, clutch, front end; Upsoluted, bigger injector nozzles.
I thought I had an injector pump problem last fall, but it turned out to be a false alarm. The timing belt inspection cover had warped due to the steam from a leaking water pump. This in turn caused the cover to rub against the injector pump pulley, making me think the pump's shaft was moving outwards because of a worn out pump! I found some in/out play on the the shaft, but this turns out to be normal.
I just did a timing belt change last week, and decided to clean the intake manifold for the first time. It actually wasn't too bad at all - I guess flooring it and cruising at 75-100 m.p.h. every day helps to keep it clean!
