I listen to the overnight truck driving show on XM and have listened to the Motorkote people for over a year now. Last week I heard a dozen people call in this mpg increases of between 10-20%. I'm thinking of giving it a try in my 98 VW TDI - Anyone got any thoughts?

I don't use that product or any oil additive but if I was considering that product the fact that they don't disclose WHAT it is coating the motor with would give me pause.

This outfit at least tells you what it is and how it supposedly works: http://www.motorsilk.com/index.html

I only know about them because they have a location in the same park where I work.

Don't know what they are, good or bad.

And that Motorsilk looks interesting, but it looks not much thicker than water. I would think it would lower the viscosity of the oil (PD's have enough problems already!).

Motorsilk: $40+, no thanks.
