Good Morning,
I had CEL and flashing glow plug light came up couple of days ago. The OBD codes suggested antishudder valve malfunction. This is what I found upon removal of engine cover. I bought the car totaled from insurance auction two years ago and front end was rebuilt. I assume the connection was shattered and they simply attached the harness connector and it stayed attached this way all this time, until it finally separated. Funny I never saw it although I replaced DSG fluid twice and oil change multiple times. Anyway, I guess I have to buy the whole valve and electrical connector to replace one on engine harness. This finally brings my question: I can't find part number of this female plug in VW parts list. Perhaps someone knows the part # or perhaps I can replace it with some other connector with 4 inputs? Thank you!
