Hi all! Been several years since I posted and I'm now on my 7th TDI 
I had just purchased an 05 Jetta TDI as my new daily driver when I noticed a Kijiji add for an 01 Beetle TDI for $1000. I went to see it and discovered it was a Vortex Blue TDI 5speed with only 260,000km on it! I think these were rare, possibly only a handful ever made? I've done a few searches and come up pretty much empty as to ACTUAL numbers made so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure what I'm doing with the car yet but for now I'm cleaning it up, fixing some broken odds and ends and cert/e testing it. I'll post some pics as I go.
