Not sure how you would lift a Mk4 with pucks?

Springs are the proper way to do it.

But if you can find a set of springs that will lift it as high as you want, that may be a better way to go.
If you live in the salt belt, corrosion can be a factor on the parts that sleeve the strut. Metalnerd does anodize his aluminum parts and it will help. It would not hurt to have grease fitting on them as they need to spin freely on the strut shaft for proper operation.

welcome to the club lex. search for lift in the mk4 section and you will see that this lift is good. can be done cheaper though. "beef on a budget" is one thread.

I have TDI wagon springs.
