I wasn't aware bubble windows were still in production.

That intercooler orientation was something I was considering. I'm also looking to retain ac.

I've seen the clear one on a truck at Sowo a yr or so back, haven't seen the solar gray color. These just give the headrest a little more room i guess? Different looking though.

I decided on a color for the truck yesterday.... Stratos Blue. Beautiful color i think.

I looked it up. Looks nice, but not exactly what I'm going for. Looked at LA5Z, LB5T also. Still nice colors as well. Stratos has a lil more classic look to it over the LA5Z. I'll have some more pics after while.

Undercoating is not very good and is coming off in some places, decided to get it sandblasted and get it resprayed. A8 wheels will need 15mm and 18mm spacers to clear the shocks. Should not poke much, I am not into that.

Jimbote, Nice! Thats awesome. Whats the name of the color? I looked for paint code on mine but did not see anything, just build date, and a tag for psi rec. What engine is in yours?

Assuan Brown. Glad you found it. Mine looks like a faded terracotta. It looks similar, might polish out. I like it though. In agree on the 1z. I have just the right donor with the 96 passat. It just needed the right project for the 1z to go in. My bride wants me to get on it right away, so we can go to Farmington. "thats 4 weeks away huh" she says, Well get to work.
Send me a few pics of the aaz in there.

Thanks BlanksThis. Its been a fun build so far.

With the 764's I'm still trying to decide if i need to go ahead w a 11mm pump or not. Or with a 11mm, the 764's might not be the correct nozzles, and what ones i need to go with instead? Some say the 520's would be a better choice w/ updated pump.

Sounds good. Do you have a custom tune on it? Turbo upgraded also to deal w that much fuel? Hopefully 17/22 will be enough if I upgrade later to a 11mm.

Another option on wheels. Jamie at OrchidEuro had these a while back. 15's. Or the Audi A8's which are 16's Both need referb somewhat.

I'll take color #3 Alex for 200! Looks better tilted over in the light a little more.

The color on right is close to what mine is. If I could figure out how to post a pic you could see it on truck for reference

#3 is a great color, 1 is too loud for me, and 2 is too bland.
I have a video of first start up somewhere during mockup. I'll have to dig it up see if i can load it.

Got doors, hood, tailgate back and looks good, but found a few spots that need to be patched on the body. Bummer, well could be worse.
