Oil Sensor: workshop and ‘release handbrake’ chime/ fault
Please help! The warning chime on my 2012 golf 2.0 is constantly going off to say ‘release handbrake’ and coming up with ‘oil sensor: workshop’ (with ignition on, engine not running). I the vagcom linked up, which indicated the oil sump level sensor was faulty so I changed it. Oil level in fine, no unusual noises coming from engine, bonnet switch working fine. Disconnected the battery. Checked handbrake switch and brake fluid level and all fine but warning chime still goes off!
Any ideas? Or is there a way to stop the chime without vagcom?
