Urea Update

not all dsg owners suffer with poor mpg. per the mdi lifetime average is at 46.2 but my hand calculations on fillups have varried between 52 and 43. i do about 90% highway at about 75mph, never dog it out but not really a "grandpa" either, mostly cruise control when i can. i will be getting my last freebe urea @40k in about 3 weeks and after that i can report back on just how many miles highway driving yeilds before a fillup is needed. i did have them foregt to fill it up one time and almost made it to 18k in between before i noticed the light.

You don't reset MFI 2 when you fill up?

I think I might want this in my signature...lol.

MPG seems to do with ambient temperature more than anything. I have found I am getting exceptional MPG on 70 plus degree days. There have only been a few so far in the NW since I have had the car.

...and I'm getting lousy city MPG in 90+...A/C, stop-and-go, too many re-starts...

Still better than a gasser.

no i just let it go, i use the trip reset each tank and then do the math when i remember.
