vcds boost values

Quick question here, I have a 3 bar map and wanted to see what boost was going at full throttle.

At 3318rpm vcds was recording 2550.6

Is this in milibar? and will it still read the same even though the stock sensor is 2.5 bar?

If so that would be 36 psi. Sounds alot for a vnt17. Or is this because I'm not accounting for environmental bar?

I have to assume thats what happened here since the bar here is 1015.2 today, bringing turbo boost down to 22 psi. which sounds about right.

yes, and i realize that ya im a retard. I was just discussing this is the obd2 section too that I have to subtract barometric pressure.

I had kind of assumed the car would subtract it on its own when looking at it on vcds. So now I'm guessing that this car has no idea what pressure it is outside. Does that mean if the pressure drops to say 800 I will get more boost?

You can read the barometer in group 010. It will de-rate with altitude (though I didn't measure much difference at 6000 feet).
