Flashing Glow Plug Light

2012 VW Jetta TDI lost power but didn't turn off. Now that its been off I can't get it to start back up. It cranks but does not start. I tried changing the fuel filter but that didn't help. I ran VCDS and got these codes. I am new to TDIs and I have no clue what any of this means so if anyone can offer any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.

But it sure sounds like you'd want to replace your Crankshaft Position Sensor (G40).

i had my rear break pads fixed but I am pretty sure that would not have changed anything but thank you

I had the same problem. More than likely, it is your CPS ( Crankshaft Position Sensor ) When bad, it will not let the car start.

Same thing with my '05 Golf, but I don't know if the same applies to the OP's
