Getting dieselgate warranty pushback from audi dealer

Got a oil level sensor message pop up on my fixed 2011 Q7.

Dealers telling me it won’t be covered so I pulled out my handbook and it clearly states

“The On Board Diagnostic (OBD) system, any malfunctions detected by the On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) system other than those related to the transmission”


I told her to look into it and call me back.

Any input?

The OBD system is not part of the oil level monitoring system. Seems pretty cut and dried to me.

Is the error actually triggering an OBD code or CEL?

If there's a dipstick, checking the oil would've been my first step.

With no check engine light on, why bother going to the dealer?
