I have a 2015 Jetta 2.0 TDI with DSG transmission. It is used to commute 100 Km per day, all on highway. The odometer is at 60K the owner's manual requires replacing transmission oil and filter. I'm thinking that at 60k km, oil should be ok, I want to just replace the filter and sample the oil.
Does anyone have an opinion about this?? Specs for the oil??

Use the correct spec oil for the DSG. it has a pair of internal clutches, which are cooled by the same oil that lubricates the gears and operates the shifters.

you can go with VW spec, or a couple other brands.

but the service is a good idea

you can search here for a couple DIY ways to do the service.

At 60,000 miles and oil ok? VW says change oil and filter, do it..
Wise to have the sample tested though.....

My bad, read to quickly. 60K is about 36,000 miles...

60k km, not miles. Just change the oil and filter. Don't waste your money with oil sample.
