question about NA touareg tdi's

Did we ever get a 2.5 I5 TDI Touareg?
I was under the impression from (perhaps a fever dream of ) a post here that suggested that North america got a 2.5 I5 TDI Touareg.
Is there any reality to this?
Anyone want to sell me one?

Nope. We just got the 5.0L PD V10s and later the 3.0L CR V6s. All ours are 4WD and automatic, too.
