I'm not finding to many people with '09+ cars that have posted their 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile times? Who's got them and them and what tune are you running?
:D

(I thought) a customer of ours said he ran a 15.85 in a JSW with a Stage 2...was hoping to see if anyone was running same or similar numbers.

Come you guys with VCDS, check your 1/4 miles

Did you look over at the "Log of quarter mile times thread"? I posted my times there on my 2011 DSG Golf. The best I've done was a 16.11 @ 85.18. I have a Revo flash, otherwise the rest of the car is stock. My track is a little over 1000 ft above sea level. I had quite a bit of wheel-spin on my launch. With some more grip off the line, I'm pretty sure I could have broken into the 15's. I'm hoping to do some exhaust mods to better my times and fun factor on my daily commute in the future.

So far:
Started with TDiCup (GLI brakes / suspension / 18" wheels)
Pelequin LSD
Southend stage 3 endurance clutch
Darkside GTB 2260vk turbo kit
Performance diesel engineering 2 1/2 exhaust
Front mount intercooler (should've gone with a S3)
Malone custom tune
Michelin pilot super sport tires 245/40ZR18 (STOCK SIZE)
Neuspend rear sway bar
Eibach springs
Dynaudio 10 channel dsp amp
Escort 9500ci built in radar with laser shifting
Planned:R32 brakes and maybe CR170 (CDCA) injectors

"Storx" has about the same engine mods so far

Yeah, I guess you're right it would be nice to see how many others that have made it down to the 1/4 mile track.

The guy that you say has run 15.85, do you happen to know what his trap speed was? Did he also have a DPF delete?

Man, I really don't know what his trap speed was, I'd like to though, he hasn't responded to emails, I don't even know for sure that he did run a "15.85" He did not have a DPF delete, just a Stage 2 with DSG tune.

Andrew, I ran a 14.98 with Stage 2 Malone tune and water meth injection. Its on the 1/4 mile time thread but dont know if he updated my info. Also had full poly bushings and engine mounts and lots of suspension parts. Hopefully I will get to the track soon to see how she does with the 2060vklr and other goodies i have now.

Stage 3,DSG tune, darkside intercooler and hard pipes, full rawtek turbo back,BFI dog bone insert, home made intake.with better traction the car would have been much quicker 2.4-60 ft was terrible.

I think with an aggressive tune and if you can get the tires to hook-up. It will be done!

Using VCDS and turbo logging I managed a 15.6 second 1/4 mile. This is on stock Continental tires with extremely poor traction. Stage 2 with DPF intact. After I delete the EGR and DPF and install some good summer tires with lots of grip, I'm hoping to get under 15 seconds. Is this a realistic goal?

Peter with his Stage III, Tony with his Stage II & I went to the track today. Pete's results are posted above on post # 23. Pete's car ran better but we still have plans to dial our TDI's in with in the next few weeks. Tony is moded Stage II but also has plans for a Stage III. Tony's car is 14 DSG and it runs extremely well for a Stage II.

I didn't run. I want to wait until I fix a few minor things.

It was a fun day.thanks Jim for posting it up. Like to se what happens in waterfest. When I get the stage 3. Like use have. And Pete's car is running well for having traction issues once he fixes it he should hit low 14. We both running the oem tires that are not ment for track.

Your last run on that slip is impressive with the 2.25 60' time :) Are you launching in 2nd?
aha, I wish.
First gear, i warmed up the tyres by doing wheelskids on that run lol.
Completely bone stock pressures etc, I think with an LSD and sticky tyres a sub 2 second run is in reach.
