In the process of tracing my battery drain in another thread, I've found that the J519 Vehicle Electronic Control Module is staying awake. I also have found that relay (part # 1KO 951253KL30) in location KL30 is warm to touch. After testing the relay, it's working properly.
I inspected all 4 door harnesses from the inside of the door (skin off) to the connector on the pillar. There are no signs of broken wires.
The interior ceiling lights and floor lights work properly when opening, and closing the door. The trunk light works properly as well. All window, lock, mirror, trunk release and fuel door work properly, with no issues ever.
I pulled fuse #15 in the drivers side dash (J519 and interior lights), and everything sounded like it was asleep. After inserting it, everything remained asleep.
I stopped the trickle charger at 12:00AM (it wasn't fully charged yet) and got 12.22 volts ...... at 8:00 AM today, I got 11.96 volts
I'm trying to get another scan, as most of the falts prior were due to low voltage.
Are there any other visual inspections I can do before taking this to the next level?
