I am the original owner of this car that has 107K miles. The color is what Volkswagen called "Bright Green". The seats are black velour, look brand new and are not soiled in any way. It includes every option that was available on the market at the time for this model. It is a 4 door with a 4-speed automatic and luxury package that included a sunroof and Avus alloys Wheels that currently have nearly new Nokian Hakkapeliitta 2’s on them . I have a second set of four wheels (Avus) with nearly new Hakkapeliitta i3’s on them to include with the car. It includes R-spec monster mats for the front seats. I added the OEM CD player to match the radio.
This car is a Wolfsburg Germany built car. One of the few A4 chassis cars that were built in Germany before Volkswagen started sending them from Brazil. This car is unique in that it is one of the few ’99 model year cars that had an automatic. The automatic was a late introduction to the ’99 model year and the 99’s didn’t start coming to the US until the second half of the year. It is almost as if it is a 1999 ¾. Not one maintenence item was ever missed and has seen nothing but Amsoil European Car Formula Synthetic 5W-40 Motor Oil (AFL) since they started making it and Mobil 1 Delvac before that. Changed out ATF and filters at 50K. Dealer replaced turbo under warranty at around 75K along with relay 109. OEM shocks and struts were replaced with Koni FSD set about at about 90K. At this time, the front suspension of this car completely rebuilt with new lower control arms, tie rod ends, driver side wheel bearing and passenger side axle shaft assembly. Changed timing belt at 100K with deluxe 33 piece kit from Dieselgeek . The intake and EGR valve body was also cleaned out at this time.
This only thing not in order is the glove box hinge. It broke in the same location nearly all other ones have but still closes properly.
