DPF / EGR delete waiting on Malone tune...question!!!

Just finished installing the Rawtek DPF/egr full exhaust swap....waiting on my Malone stage 2 tune to come back.

Question is....can I start and/or run my tdi without the Tune? Just curious, and my piss poor planning left me careless until Monday so I can install the tune.

unplug the pre-turbo EGT sensor. Yes you can start and drive it if you need, far from ideal though.

I figured as much. I had to ask though.

when i did mine i was told by my tuner i would be able to start and drive the car one time after that it would basically be underivable
so i installed my delete and drove straight to him for the tune

Or unplug the MAF to prevent it from attempting a Regen. Dash will be an Xmas tree and you have poor performance and mileage.
