Under Dash Sensor Mk5 tdi

Hi I opened dash under drivers side and a sensor fell out.

Can’t attach pic but it’s smallish and has a two pin plug at the end and a cylindrical piece of metal sheathing an inner metal core which is sprung from the other end - thought it may be a crash sensor.

Does anyone know how to post pics on here or aware of this sensor and where it fits?

Ah I found it - in extremely small type - it’s a steering lock solenoid
