Hi there,
I'm trying to get a VW specific aftermarket GPS/DVD deck in my 06' Jetta. I found one guy on craigslist but he said it would be a few weeks before it got in and he wasn't informative. Anyone know of anywhere else I might be able to go?

I figure i'll pop by pacific mall later today and see if someone there has one, is able to install, etc.

If not i guess i'll just pick one up from ebay.ca.

what do you want? VW OEM stuff? like the MFD2? it was the unit on the 06 Jetta's. You can also install the new units from the 09-10 golf and Jetta's but they are expensive (1000-1500) range. I just ended up getting a Parrot Mki9200 for my bluetooth and ipod and use my exsisting TomTom for GPS. I really didnt want to pay lot of money for a OEM unit.

There are chinese OEM knockoffs, that have Nav, bluetooth, plays DVD's, Ipod hookups. Everything but the kitchen sink.

Can be bought for a little under $400 USA, plus shipping.

Comes with everything to plug and play and works with steering wheel buttons if you have them.

Here's just one site that carries them.
