Ever since buying my first boosted car in 1997 I’ve never looked back, really don’t think I can drive a NA car. I’m kinda addicted to boost.

1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged 3.8L
2001 GTI 1.8T, chipped with intake/exhaust
2007 Mazdaspeed 3 Turbo 2.3L
2014 Passat TSI stock
2014 JSW TDI stock

I'm fine with naturally aspirated gassers (not that I drive one regularly) but for a diesel, turocharge it or forget it. And if I was at high altitude, e.g. where I used to live in SLC Utah, there aren't many cars better for running up to ski than a TDI. Gassers either wheeze and struggle, or overheat, or both on the way up the canyons. I just cruise along and look for the passing lanes.

Cheers,

PH
