I originally installed a .658 fifth gear in my bug. It was nice, but like mentioned before, a big jump from 4th to 5th. I installed my 6 speed last Fall. It is REALLY nice. About the only time I drop in to 6th is when I'm on the highway cruising 70 or faster.
